I got a call from this bureau, saying they are a nonprofit organization whom is helping victims get their refund of monies paid upfront to fraudulent companies. They are out of Florida and are not asking for monies. They file your refund claim with the attorney general of Florida for you to get monies back from any of the companies that were shut down by Bill McCollum, attorney general of florida. They emailed a power of attorney form so they can file in my behalf. Anyone else heard of this? They are out of Delray Beach, FL.

Doesn't sound right. Please read the form diligently. I'd hate for you to sign over power of attorney only to have them sign over your timeshare to themselves or someone else.

Yeah, I called the attorney generals office and spoke to someone and gave all the information about this so-called bureau to them. And she too said just file a complaint on the website myself. My goodness, there is all kinds out there.
