Does anyone know if there are any restaurants within walking distance to Vacation Village at Parkway? I love mexican and my husband and kids are more hamburger and fries sort of people.

Thanks!

Good Mexican food is hard to come by, anywhere near Disney. Fronterra's the best and there are two locations, both pretty far from Disney, one way out on 192 and another on Sand Lake and Florida Parkway, I believe is the name of the cross street.

Wendy's is close, just a short walk from VV at P. There are other restaurants really close but Wendy's is the best for burgers, in my opinion.

Thank-you! Wendy's is a huge hit with our family (nearest one is over 2 hours drive!) What kind of mexican does Fronterra's serve? Authentic or more like Taco Bell?

Fronterra's is a sit-down restaurant with really great dishes. They serve great chile rellenos, my favorite food. I like a good chile relleno better than chocolate. ;) I think their prices are very reasonable, about $8.00 per person. A Disney employee told us about that place and we have been very pleased with the food. It is so much better than the Cantina in Epcot.

I am putting it on my "to eat" list. I look forward to it. Have you eaten at Chevy's on 192? I ate there years ago and it was pretty good then.

Chevy's is okay, Fronterra's is better and less expensive.

Great to know. Now I want Mexican...the only restaurant nearby is Taco Time....good but just not authentic...and I still have to drive 35 miles to get there!! Thanks again for your help. I googled chile rellenos and a recipe came up they sound delicious. I will definately try them.
