PreXmas trip to first visit to theses two resorts. Would appreciate recommendations for moderately priced restaurants close by - seafood, ethnic, etc - we love it all.

Guess we will use outdoor dining or carry out - Covid rates are high in South FL.

Covid is Covid.....the protocols you practice in your home state...will work just as well in South Florida...enjoy BeachPlace..it’s a very nice resort in a great location...weather is great in December..we will be there in mid January

Decent casual places on Singer Island. Fancy stuff if want to drive to Jupiter or hit up the Marriott resort just up the street (assuming they are back to having a full menu, not much back in June).

Outdoor dining should be really nice this time of year. Most of those places are open air anyway so not much difference.

We'll be at Ocean Pointe early January.

We have stayed at Beach Place Towers and Oceana Palms, our favorite place to eat while we are at BPT is Kelly's Landing. The very best seafood, the owner and most of the staff are from MA. The lobster is Maine lobster and they have Ipswich clams. We learned about Kelly's when we took a Duck tour. They have specials on different days. Give a call or go on line to check them out. We all ways went at least twice while we were there. Enjoy

Our favorite spot is right next door at the Ritz-Carlton. On Monday evenings they have for years run a $10 special out on the patio with one of their expensive hamburgers, fries and a beer for $10. It's a delicious treat, you're outside with a view and the food is delicious. We haven't been there since last December but that special has been going on for some years. Will you get away for $20? We never have - my wife always chooses mixed drinks from their very good bar and their kitchen makes one of the best key lime pie desserts you might ever taste, one is enough for two with plenty to take back to the condo.

We enjoy going to Casablanca Cafe. It's a short walk north of the Ritz. They have outdoor seating. Food, staff and faculty are excellent.
You can walk off the meal with a short walk along the beach

We found the Ritz specials next door to Beachplace Towers to be great, as dgf15215 mentioned. In addition to the hamburger deal, they have a taco and margarita deal on another night (don't remember which night). They had a sandwich board outside on sidewalk showing the special deals.

Another restaurant we particularly enjoyed was 15th Street Fisheries. Seafood was very fresh, located on the intercoastal and had outside dining options available.

I highly recommend the water taxi at least one day while staying at Beachplace Towers. The taxi is a great way to see some beautiful houses, yachts while being entertained by the on-board guides as you cruise. The taxi drops you off at multiple locations along the intercoastal both North and South of Beachplace. The taxi has two drop off spots very close to Las Olas Blvd, which has many restaurant options. 15th Street Fisheries is one of the stops on the water taxi as well. There is a taxi drop off point one block from the resort and you can get an all day ticket for less than $30 from the concierge desk. Much easier than driving, finding parking and paying for parking.

We also enjoy this restaurant food and staff. They are very attentive.
Plus, you have an awesome view of the beach. IMO.

We enjoy the local seafood specials at The Catch on Northlake near Singer Island. They have a patio on the water. And a delightful key lime tart.
