Restaurants in Frisco and Georgetown

Suggestions for restaurants for lunch in Frisco and Georgetown?

I'll assume you are talking about Frisco and Georgetown, Colorado, on opposite sides of the continental divide on I-70. If not, these won't apply.

We haven't had lunch in Frisco for a while, but we have had lunch several times at the Dam Brewery in Dillon just east of Frisco. It's a few blocks south of I-70 on the Silvethorne/Dillon I-70 exit.

We've also had lunch at the Red Ram in downtown Georgetown several times, the most recent being earlier this year. Both places have typical Brewery/Bar food for lunch. Burgers, sandwiches, and probably some salads. Both are in the not fancy category but the food isn't bad. I'd go back to either one.

Thanks for suggestions of places to eat lunch in Frisco and Dillon CO.

Ugh, please stop calling San Francisco, Frisco. San Fran is better. When I first heard of Frisco I was wondering why it was on this post and where was this city? I'm a native San Franciscan and NO ONE uses that. So please don't use that in San Francisco if you don't want dirty looks. :D

Why type of food are you interested in and how $$$? San Francisco is food mecca.

Great Honk (I've been dying to use that one), calm down and take a deep breath.

The OP was asking about a different city in a different state, not San FRancISCO.

Just funning with you - I originally thought it might be about the California version at first too.

When I posted the message about dining in Frisco, it never dawned on me to include the state. Yes, Frisco, CO.

And that is not an abbreviated form of the name of the town. It is Frisco, Colorado. A lovely Colorado mountain town in the center of Summit County, about an hour west of Denver. No comparison to San Francisco, California. AAA lists the Frisco elevation as 9,042 feet above sea level and its population as 2,443. It is located in a flat area surrounded by high mountains rather than in a hilly area surrounded by a flat ocean. :)

Summit County also includes Breckenridge, Dillon, Silverthorne, Copper Mountain ski area, Keystone ski area, and probably some other places of interest that slip my mind at the moment. It is one of the nicest areas in Colorado. That's a personal opinion, others will find some equally nice areas they prefer.

(I'm funning you too, don't take any of this seriously)

'Tis a privilege to live in Colorado.

Colorado is definitely on my bucket list. We've never been there but it looks beautiful there.

And when I saw the title of the post, I immediately thought of Frisco, TX. Then I wondered why someone would be asking about restaurants in Texas and Washington, D.C. in the same post???? And in the Western US forum????

We had a nice lunch at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Frisco ( I'm pretty sure that was the name). It's not a fancy place, it wasn't expensive but it was a decent meal. Keep in mind we've only eaten there once and I find I really need to dine in a restaurant a minimum of 3 times to decide if they're consistant with their quality.

Thank you for that enlightenment. Now I know there's a Frisco, CO. :)
