I note that we now have 261 resorts that can be booked thru Club Wyndham, according to the reservation system webpage.

Worldmark has 227 resorts that can be booked.

I understand that in the near future that Club Wyndham owners will be able to book the Worldmark properties online and Worldmark owners will be able to book Club Wyndham online. Obviously, there will be restrictions and a fee (it is currently $99 to have a counselor book Club Wyndham Pass), but this will be a game changer for both programs.

It would have to be analyzed as to which resorts are not available to be booked at this point thru the Club Wyndham site. I do know that a couple of years back that the company bought a Japanese timeshare company, plus there are 3 European resorts (bought from Diamond) that only show up on the Worldmark side, and I do not think that all of the Australian or Far East resorts show up on the Club Wyndham site.

I can foresee hitting 300 resorts within a few years, if not before.

They have been saying online booking is coming for club pass reservations for years. I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Does this count include the affiliate hotels that basically cannot be booked, as they have had no availability since the companies split? Like Boston?

Will be interesting to see how this affects occupancy... I honestly believe having to call a VC to make a reservation is a real barrier to entry for using club pass. If it was searchable, and bookable directly online, I think you will see more people utilize club pass bookings

I think the real barriers are the point cost, the exchange fee and the extra taxes- i booked a 3 night through club pass and fees were about 100 per night averaged. It’s just not a great use of points and cash.

WorldMark and Wyndham owners have been hearing this since Wyndham Club Pass was introduced in 2014. Maybe ... someday.

"Game changer" is a strong term. What percentage of total reservations in either system are Club Pass reservations? Online booking will definitely make booking Club Pass more convenient, but it is not like the number of Club Pass reservation would double. I would be surprised (if booking Club Pass online ever happens) that it would increase the number of Club Pass reservations by 10-15%. Hardly seems worth the development costs.

Plus, I am sure the IT department responsible for the Wyndham websites will have more than enough to do for years bringing the new websites up to speed.

I hate that the new Web Site for Worldmark being developed by Wyndham comingles all Wyndham Resorts and All Worldmark Resorts. I like the old Worldmark Site that only listed the Worldmark Resorts and you went to Club Pass Tab if you wanted to see the Wyndham Resorts.

It a way to dazzle potential buyer. Sales weasels will use it to show all the resorts.

How many of those are dual branded, are they counting those locations twice, perhaps.

I know the wyndham sales pitches regularly show ALL the dots in the combined Wyndham/Worldmark/Shell holdings... with no talk of club pass or what is and isn't directly bookable with just points... this is clearly a sales strategy

AKA--- Daze and confuse with half truths and wyndham math that never adds up.

There is definitely a lot of double counting in those numbers and a bunch of associate/affiliate resorts that are impossible to actually book.

I came up with at least 32 double counts (there are likely some more I may have missed):

- Club Wyndham Desert Blue/Margartiaville Desert Blue
- Wyndham/Worldmark Austin
- Wyndham/Worldmark Portland
- Wyndham/Worldmark Avenue Plaza
- Wyndham/Worldmark Bison Ranch
- Wyndham/Worldmark Dolphin's Cove
- Wyndham/Worldmark Anaheim
- Wyndham/Worldmark Elysian Beach
- Wyndham/Worldmark Galena
- Wyndham/Worldmark Grand Lake
- Wyndham/Worldmark Grand Palms
- Wyndham/Worldmark Indio
- Wyndham/Worldmark Lake of the Ozarks
- Wyndham/Worldmark Ocean Walk Daytona
- Wyndham/Worldmark Reunion
- Wyndham/Worldmark Kingstown Reef
- Wyndham/Worldmark Pagosa
- Wyndham/Worldmark Palm-Aire
- Wydnham/Worldmark Santa Barbara
- Wyndham/Worldmark Sea Gardens
- Wyndham/Worldmark Shawnee Village
- Wyndham/Worldmark South Shore
- Wyndham/Worldmark Pinetop
- Wyndham/Worldmark Rancho Vista
- Wyndham/Worldmark Taos
- Wyndham/Worldmark Steamboat Springs
- Wyndham/Worldmark Tropicana
- Wyndham Sapphire Valley/Fox Hunt Sapphire Valley
- Angel Fire/Angel Fire Cabin Share
- Bay Club I/Bay Club II
- Ocean Ridge/King Cotton Villas
- Makai Club/Makai Club Cottages

Take out the affiliates that are impossible to book & the double counts and that 261 number is more like 200.

"Impossible to book" I assume you mean places like Charleston, Galveston and the one in Ocean City, MD? I've never seen a bookable night in any of those places since they eliminated one night bookings.

Galveston currently is doing the same thing Midtown 45 did for a month or so, it's not searchable, and when you click on the map you can't do anything with it, or check availability.

Charleston currently getting the "something unexpected happened" when looking at all

I feel like I remember the associate hotel in Galveston was actually removed at some point. Unlike Midtown 45, which was always there and its resort page could always be found by using the website search even when it wasn't showing on the resort map, and unlike other associate hotels like Mills House or Beacon Hill, there's no sign of the Galveston hotel on the current website at all. I think it's intentionally gone, not a glitch like Midtown 45 was.

Boston, Pittsburg, Ocean City, Charleston, Galveston, etc are the ones I was thinking of
