So. My husband and I have a "resolution " meeting tomorrow morning with CV. Apparently there was something wrong with the deed and the contract is somehow messed up. I'm all for getting out from under it if possible. Has anyone been privy to one of these meetings? I'm curious how this is going to roll, or if they will continue to try to pressure us with a new contract.

@hensabound
Be careful- if their lips are moving .
It is likely a ploy to get you to give them money AND get a contract that has a higher MF

Please read info / threads in the TUG Capital Vacation Forum .

What/when did you buy? Have you already used your TS? This smells like a new way to get you to attend a sales presentation.

If CV just became the management company, they maybe trying to get you to buy into their points system..

We already attended the presentation and sadly got conned into their point system. When our first payment came out, money came out twice, and my husband immediately called them to figure out what was going on. It's been a month of phone calls and emails, to them, with nary a peep from CV. He finally got someone to call him back yesterday. We were informed that something was not correct with the contract that we signed and they needed us to go over it again. They set up a resolution meeting for tomorrow. However, I find it hilarious that today, he received an email from apparently our personal concierge or something. Asking what dates would work for us to go on vacation!! I'm really wondering if anybody has been through a resolution meeting where there was a screw up in the contract. And if we are able to somehow cancel this contract.

yea, that doesnt smell right though we are all rooting for you to be able to get out of it!

When did you buy? Where is the meeting? You should not attend this meeting and certainly not sign anything new other than a rescission if possible (separate from the "meeting"). Nothing they give you to sign/change will be in your favor.

Give us more details and respond to people's questions here if you want any hope to escape this.

Bought from Breezy Point end of April. Meeting is today at 10am. They are still taking 2 payments out of our acct even after telling us "something is wrong with the deed" we have no idea what that means. I realize that we are too late to rescind the contract at this point. We will not sign anything new. If we have to attempt to use their exit program we will will.

I should clarify that this is a phone call meeting, not an in person one.
So we definitely will not be signing anything.

First i woud want them to reveal what the problem is that they have found and are trying to "resolve". After their sales pitch, I would tell them if they issued a "faulty" contract/deed that it must not be valid, especially with all the resources they have available. Further, based on that you expect a full refund and cancellation.
