Unfortunately, I fell victim to the WorldMark By Wyndham presentation and signed up for vacation credits. The next day after signing, I reviewed the contract and thousands of bad reviews, and I immediately followed the rescind options I had available . I sent the rescind notice, with contract number/member number, my name and the other owners name and signature along with a copy of the contract details. I ensured it was sent to the correct address in orlando with the right attention to the rescission department. I now have proof of delivery.

I'm not sure of what to do next and how I should proceed in regards to the Wyndham rewards card and other credit lines that are/may have been opened. I recieved confirmation that the wyndham rewards card has been opened via my credit agency. How is this all handled? Does it automatically drop off? Do i file a dispute. Do I cancel the card (i dont want it but will keep it if closing negatively impacts my credit score). I dont want anything to do with the time share (this includes the wyndham card and credit loans).

If there is anyone here who were able to rescind within the allowed time frame, I would strongly appreciate you help :D

Thank you

By it's definition, 'Rescission' means to reset affairs to the way they were before any contract was signed. You should be fine, since you made a timely rescission. It may take 'up to' 45 days to receive a refund of your down payment. If it was made to the new credit card account, you may want to keep it open until the credit appears on nit's statement, then close the account by calling the number on the back of the card if it isn't closed automatically.

Sleep well. You beat 'em.
