Hello. Like many others I bought into the bluegreen dream and upon immediate further investigation and consideration, I have decided it is not feasible for me at this time. I am confident about the process to seek out rescinding the contract , Thanks to this forum!!!! Yeah for you all.

I am curious however if any one has any experience or information about what happens if I had them finance me thru a credit card I applied for with them.

I'm sure I'll find out sooner or later as I am starting the process to rescind tomorrow but, it's gonna keep me up for nights til I have some clue .

Follow the directions exactly to rescind - are you within the prescribed time frame?

As for the credit card I would call and cancel it if you have that info. When was the first charge suppose to hit the card? If not until the one month mark you should be fine as the charges will be reversed. You still might be on the hook for the annual fee.

They will refund the down payment to their card (I assume). Wait until after the refund has been posted before you cancel the card.
