There used to be a transfer thread where ppl posted their experiences. I couldn’t locate it, so I’m reposting in case the following info is useful to someone.

I purchased a margaritaville contract from EBay on September 29th. The signed documents were sent to Wyndham on 10/2. The transfer company advised it might take 12-18 weeks for the Docusign from Wyndham.

On 11/13, I received the documents from Wyndham and the points were transferred into my account on 11/27. (Thanksgiving day!)

Total time +/- 6 weeks. An interesting thing to note: My membership type was changed to MVC, although I have a mix of CWP/CWA contracts.

Let me know if anyone has questions.

Weird that the transfer department was open on Thanksgiving. I had a few transfer that day. Surprising. I have phone calls to make tomorrow on that front.

I’m pretty sure they were probably scheduled. I called too and it was closed.

It's also entirely possible that certain components are handled using non-US resources - which of course- do not celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Wyndham employs an increasing number of customer service resources that are not US based to keep labor costs lower, as do most other global firms. The Philippines comes to mind as one example.

Is Margaritaville like CWA so no deeds? Cause the deed ones seem to take like 10 months or so for me lol.
