Has anyone rented through Redweek and received a cease and desist email from HGVC forbidding renting through a 3rd party? I am aware that of the HGVC rules but it seems as if there are a lot of HGVC owners that do it?

If anyone has received the email, did they respond confirming receipt of the email as requested by the HGVC sender?

I assume that you are the renter here, i.e. they're your points, rather than the "rentee" in this case?

I'd stop since you are in violation of the rules and did get caught. Not sure exactly what their remedies are if you don't, but likely fairly severe.

Disclaimer: Following is only my opinion and holds no legal bearing:

If it were me, I'd not actually respond, but would cease doing this.

Cheers.

HGVC allows renting of the Home Week only. Not anything reserved with points. Did you rent the Home Week and receive the email?
