Renting out my unit

So not soliciting offers here to be clear. But general question I guess about renting out my week in a high demand Marriott resort.

Is Redweek the way to go here and how much do I need to worry about the occupants not treating the place as I would.

Or is tug marketplace the better way to go here.

There is no one best way, they all have plusses and minuses. Tons of stickies and threads here about he best way people think to rent.

Lots of ghost stories, but I have never seen any meaningful confirmed accounts of people being on the hook for damage their renters cause.
 
You can have a clause in your rental agreement that makes the renter, not the owner, responsible for any damage to the unit. Most likely, the resort will hold the owner responsible anyway. So the contract clause may not have much effect.
