Renting on Airbnb - Koala

I'm getting serious about posting some timeshare weeks on Airbnb so I continue to "research" how best to do that and found something unexpected. There is a listing for Wyndham Bonnet Creek on Airbnb. In the important details it states:

KOALA Disclosure Summary:

-IMPORTANT: Payments appear as “KOALA VACATIONS” on credit card statements.

Does this mean if you list your timeshare with Koala they turn around and list it on Airbnb so they would each take a "cut" of the rent income?

This is not a surprise. They have been doing it for years. I am personaly GLAD they are doing this because they did stop for a while and my rentals decreased.

The amount you get paid is not affected in the least by whatever means Koala needs to use to get their name out there. Your payout is the same.

I think posting outside of the Koala website only occurs for listings you “Supercharge” which is only available to subscribers.
