Hello, I've searched to no avail... For the first time since owning our excellent trader for the last 15 years, we were set to use our Cape Cod timeshare this summer. It's a great week (33/August 14) but we have a new pooch and need to be home with him. What is the collective best TUG opinion on renting? Should I attempt Facebook Marketplace first and then turn to Redweek, or just cut to the chase and go with something like the latter. I can always deposit, but I have way to much TPU to juggle as it is. Thank you, and I appreciate the suggestions!

Redweek has an upfront fee, Koala takes commission 8% after rental

I would try Facebook. Check if there is a Facebook page for the resort you own and you maybe able to find a renter that way. There's also a couple of Facebook groups for timeshare rentals. You won't have to pay any fees.

Why not rent it on TUG ?

TUG has a classified section for it, and it also has a LMTR (Last Minute Timeshare Rental) area to rent it if it is priced below $801.

I'm confident it you post it under the LMTR section it will rent quickly and easily to another TUGGER. Won't cost you a nickel to run the ad!

Best of luck!

What resort is it?

I would post it on TUG, but based on my research it will/should go for more than $800.

I have a friends that have been traveling out to the Cape a few time this year, but I don’t think this location would work for them. Good luck!
