It has been a number of years since I have rented a timeshare week, and the process may have changed since then.

The week I'll be renting is 52 at the Parkway. What have others done to find the best success to rent your weeks?

Should I post here in the marketplace, on Redweek and on eBay? Anywhere else? Renting with Parkway itself could also be an option since this is a high demand week, but they do take a good cut of the proceeds from my experience in the past.

Any other considerations that I should think about for payments?

Finally once the rental goes through, is the next step to get a guest certificate for the week and send this confirmation to the renter?

Is there anything else I would need to follow-up on for / with the renter?

Thanks!

I also send the rentor a shortcontract, there is a sample available here on TUG. A few times, I rented mine using Facebook marketplace. That was years ago, but I had some repeat visitors, which was very nice.
I like to talk to renters on the phone a few times beforehand. You can get a feel for them, since they will be using your timeshare, under your name.
They are responsible for any damages done during their stay.
What is your cancelation policy going to be?
These are just a few points, there are more you can find here, on this site and from other owners.
I don't know what's going on this year, but renting seems to be slow. I'm still waiting to rent one week for this year. Maybe, it's the economy. Good luck to you!
