Have you read https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/h...meshare-timeshare-rental-guide-for-owners.43/
and all the other 'stickies' in this forum, Buying, Selling & Renting Timeshares?

You cannot deposit YOUR week into their RCI account. RCI is not a personal exchange program.

how do I rent my unit? If it's truly your unit, you just rent it to your guest.

You need to explore this whole bulletin board and forget any lies the salesman told you when you bought your timeshare.

Cheers!

I do not think it is a silly question. I do not think any question trying to learn the system is silly. There are people here who clearly have plenty of free time on their hands to read all the posts. So ignore them and ask away.

However, there is a lot of information already on the website. It's always good to do your own research and then come back with the questions you couldn't find the answers to. The link provided in post #2 is a great place to starts.

You can book and add them as a guest. If its RCI, it is really only meant for friends and family. You cannot rent for profit with RCI or most timeshare systems. You can charge them the exchange fees and guest fees as well.

Yes you are correct. But sometimes people do not have the time to search for answers and a simple question here can help them. If they get the same answer from everyone, then they should assume that is the correct answer. If they get different answers then they have to go and search for it themselves.

What I do not understand is why some people get upset that people ask questions that has been covered before but they may have missed it. So what they asked the question. How does that affect their life? Isn't this site supposed to be owners helping other owners.

They can simply move on to other posts rather than insult the person asking the question.
