So, I booked a few rooms at The Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix to attend the National Mock Trial competition, my son's team is competing. I was surprised to receive two emails after making the reservation. The normal one, from Wyndham, and a second from Extra Holidays, seen below.

Anyone else seen this? I assume I can simply ignore it. Thanks!

Yes, had the exact same experience when we stayed at the Legacy Golf resort in Phoenix last year!

I was never able to figure out why.

I'll also say, we really liked the resort, nice grounds, great pool, unit was clean and had a good layout.

I got Extra Holiday's emails for our recent stay at Peacock Suites.

Ironically, they just closed a ticket (from November) related to not receiving confirmations. I had to call and ask what ticket they closed because there is not information in the email (other than the ticket number). I'd like to think they fixed something, but I doubt it.

I received a robo email stating they were "hard at work" on a ticket of mine.. This ticket was created in 2022! That's right - 3 years ago. I'm way past remembering what the issue was.

Yes, we get those second emails from Extra Holidays. I spoke to owner care about them…annoying because I think Extra Holidays is taking times away from owners to shill for Wyndham (notice how many Wyndham properties stays are being given away on game shows these days??) Seems Legacy Wyndham reservation confirmation is always followed by the stupid Extra Holidays one…maybe something to do w/it being Shell?
We like Legacy very much. Extra Holidays crap, not so much. Owner care didn’t know why, opened an inquiry ticket, may go nowhere.🤷‍♀️ If I’m using MY points to book, I don’t need to hear from Extra Holidays even if the total cost line is $0.
