If you sold your timeshare through a realtor, who did you use and how much was the commission? Was there a minimum fee--and how much?

I sold one, minimum fee was $2,500. I just wanted to get rid of it, and I was glad to walk away without a dime. I was glad the broker was able to dump it.

So that means they found someone willing to pay at least $2,500 for it?

Yes, and I suppose I should say it was a Sands of Kahana two-bedroom, and it was Syed Sarmad, my favorite Hawaii salesperson. He was awesome. Didn't cost us anything to get rid of it. It was a long time ago.

Unfortunately, I doubt he can sell our Hono Koa oceanfront weeks. I would love to sell them, if we could, but we may just give those the walkaway. Sands is definitely sellable. Is that a word?
