Capital Vacations keeps saying I can exchange with RCI with them without paying the RCI fee. So if I deposit my week into Capital vacations I can reserve a capital vacations week but what does RCI have to do with it? Could someone explain this new Capital Vacations/RCI situation to me? I don't take any of the numerous calls from them because they would probably like and because they would probably up the spam calls.

I am very unsure of what you are being told. Did you pay something to convert a week you own to Capital points?

Who is saying it? Is it from an update? Ask for it in writing. Likely what they are saying is you won't pay rci exchange fees any more but what they mean is if you use Capital's internal platform to make exchanges, you won't be using RCI and therefore won't have to pay rci exchange fees. Wyndham says the same thing about buying wyndham and then you never have to pay for rci's exchanges again. They tell you it's because Wyndham owns RCI but what they really mean is if you don't use RCI, you won't pay. If you choose to use RCI, the exchange fees still apply.

Even as Platinum Founder's level, we have to pay $299 for exchange fees and $129 guest fees. No discounts whatsoever.

I assume this is sales' speak, which is the same as saying "lying speak."

Maybe they're talking about their trading places legacy that lets you exchange to RCI places at a reduced exchange fee?
