I am trying to get my head around how RCI Guest Certificates work with worst case scenario.

I used my future Wyndham Points to book a week in Hawaii via RCI for my Dad. On the email he received there is the date, resort, and the fine print for resort charges. What is missing is the RCI reservation number.

Does he just show up with his ID and the hotel will have be able to find his reservation? Looks like in the past there were actual certificates not emails. If he has an issue checking in does he call me or RCI? If he would need to call RCI, how would find it without a reservation number?

I don't see reservation numbers on my RCI confirmations.

Yes we will , when time gets closer. It’s August 2026, the RCI agent said Hilton probably won’t have the reservations for months.
Understand but why not try now so you can have peace of mind if they do have it now.
