RCI - WorldMark Moab, UT - Loads of Extra Vacations

Thanks for the heads up, @CO skier! We love Moab and that’s a really nice resort to use as a home base for exploring the area.

huge amount of availability
similar to question I just asked elsewhere;; are these for 7 nights. I asked a friend to look for me and she said Moab EVs that she saw were 6 nights or less, and Worldmark was only 2 or 4 nights? She is not an RCI expert though, so maybe she searched wrong?

Is Moab hiking still good during the first 2 weeks of November?

Thanks for posting. Strange, I have had an OGS forever for this location and still no match.

I can’t speak to the first two weeks of November but I stayed there the last week of October 2022 and the hiking was great. I was there mid October 2024 and the hiking was very good too.

These are full weeks. Prior to this inventory appearing, the Moab EV were only one or two for a few nights. Have your friend search Moab Extra Vacations again. Make sure she is checking Extra Vacations, not exchanges which show this:

Check websites like this one for average temperatures and actual data for the past few years.

I hike Zion National Park every year the first 3 weeks of November, because the temperatures are so pleasant and the leaves are changing colors in the valley. Zion's average temps are the same as Moab, UT. Sweat pants for the first couple of hours, then shorts and short sleeves until sunset. In 2022, a cold front moved through the first week of November and the high elevations received a dusting of snow, but temps quickly warmed-up again.

A few years ago, I was in Moab the first week of October and it was still too hot for me.

Strange, I have had an OGS forever for this location and still no match.
That is strange. I just looked and not all the weeks available in Extra Vacations are listed as Exchanges, and even more strange, none of the 2 and 3 bedroom units are listed as Exchanges.

@CO skier , thanks for this heads up. We were able to grab a couple of units for a family members bucket list Jeep adventure.

@easyrider, 4WD trails around Moab are awesome! We drove up Shafer Trail from Moab to Canyonlands NP in January, and I was holding my breath a couple of times on hairpin turns with steep drop offs! The scenery is simply jaw dropping spectacular!

Love Moab!
Some parts of Canyonlands (Needles) will likely have snow in November but Island in the Sky should be ok...
Arches should be ok too...

Going UP Shafer Trail is definitely the way to go! Been there, done that.
