It amazes me how long the RCI website has stunk! It never gets better, only worse! When trying to search for an exchange 90% of the time the site does not allow me to put in dates of the wanted exchange.

But the worst part is that I can no longer filter out Exchange Plus weeks when searching for a week exchange. I get weeks that have a $1599 "exchange fee"! This company continues to find new lows!

If I'm missing something, please let me know.

Also, curious about any matches to ongoing searches Tuggers have had within the last year.......

You should not have to do this, but if you sort on "Resort ID - Ascending", it puts all the exchange plus garbage at the bottom.

Using the RCI site reminds of our dial up internet in the mid 90s. It is so bad.

I've personally never (in many years) gotten a match in any ongoing search. Yet, I did get a Galleon 2 BR in Key West and an Eagle's Nest 2 BR in Marco Island with both exchanges having start dates within 14 days or so....and "costing" only about twelve TPUs each. Ongoing searches only get a match for exchanges whose check-in dates are at least thirty days in the future.

Which makes sense. Who's going to deposit anything decent with such crap appearing all the time? So the only "good" weeks that get deposited are "last minute" weeks where something came up that prevented the owners from traveling themselves.

And the $299 exchange fee is very much unwelcome.

Otherwise, when I worked short term in the greater Miami area, I often stayed at the Vacation Village at Weston, either via Last Call rental rates or weeks whose TPU costs were 3 to 9 or so.

FWIW, in the last 8 months, I've gotten matches to the Manhattan Club (1BR) for July 2025 and most recently the Four Seasons Vilamoura (2BR) for April 2026. The matches happened within a few weeks of my submitting the OGS. Unfortunately, I had to release the Four Seasons unit.
