I was told that I could make a reservation through Wyndham using my RCI points and would not have to pay a exchange fee. Is this true? Where do I call?

Sounds like someone got it backwards.

1. You can deposit Wyndham points into RCI and book stays through your Wyndham provided RCI weeks account. You pay the $239 exchange fee when you book or start a search.

2. You can log into your RCI points account on the RCI website and book a Wyndham resort using your RCI points if there is something available. The exchange fee is $239.

3. No third option to the best of my knowledge.

I cannot think of any RCI program that does not have an exchange fee. Even those RCI certificates that some people get has a cash fee.

I did come up with one more option. With a developer purchase from Wyndham you can put your RCI week/points week in the PIC program and that gives you the option of using it as Wyndham points. They don't accept every resort into the PIC program so can't say for sure yours would be eligible. I believe you typically get 105,000 Wyndham points for a week in a one bedroom.
