RCI POINTS- What is their $ Value?

I am curious what RCI POINTS are valued at today.
I am not on the RCI POINTS System but was inquiring. For example if someone was to rent a unit from a friend that was valued at 85,000 points what would this equate to in toda'ys dollar.

There really isn't a value because you aren't supposed to rent RCI exchanges and a points reservation is still and RCI exchange. That being said traditionally a penny a point is considered a decent value for RCI points. Some pay less in MF's, some pay more. Some pay almost double.

So a 85,000 rci exchange would cost the owner with the decent point cost $850 plus the $160-$219 exchange fee plus the $59 guest fee. $1078-$1128. If this were the entire points allotment of the year you could factor in all or part of the RCI membership fee of $100 too. So for the average RCI points owner the cost in MF and RCI fees to gift an 85,000 reservation would be about $1140.
