RCI Points Website Problem?

I have been trying to access the Points section, I can get in but cannot access much. I have been having this problem for days, is anyone else experiencing issues??

For quite a while now I cannot see the exchange section with Firefox; I don't know why this is, since I used to be able to. I can see it with the IE Tab Extension or by using MSIE itself.

I also had a problem last night but I just logged out and when I got back in everything was fine. I'm just happy that Canadian RCI Points members can now search Last Call and Extra Vacations. :cheer:

Thanks Fern but I still cannot get in. I get to the Welcome screen after logging in but it only displays a portion of it. Anyone else haveing problems??? Any solutions before I have to make the dreaded phone call to RCI? I did try to log out and then back in, unfortunatly still no good.

Access to RCI Points Website

Until now, I thought I was an isolated case. I have not been able to access the RCI Points website for almost two weeks, shortly after they did one of their weekly "updates". I have been in touch with RCI twice and received the following replies:

Reply #1 - Received on Dec 10/08 from RCI

"Thank you for your e-mail.

Please accept our apologies for this problem. Our technical staff is
aware of it and is working to correct this situation. For the time
being, please contact our staff at 877-968-7476 for assistance"

Reply #2 - Received on Dec 16/08 from RCI

"Thank you for your e-mail.

Upon review of your account, we noticed recent changes were made to your
account based on your ownership in a Berkley-affiliated resort. These
changes may cause temporary problems with your online account. This has
been reported to the appropriate staff, and we hope to have a resolution
soon. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused"

As of this evening there has been no change.
 
Hmmm. This thread is surprisingly missing a response from a certain person. You know if this were II, II would have been torn to pieces by now.:ignore:
 
I've been having this trouble as well, since around Dec 9 or 10, although the search features appear to be back in order this morning.

I was told by RCI web support that the problem affects all Vacation Village resorts owners. If that's correct, then the following owners are (were) affected...

FLORIDA
Bonaventure Weston, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Mizner Place at Weston Town Center, Weston, FL
Palm Beach Shores Resort, Palm Beach Shores, FL
Vacation Village at Parkway, Orlando, FL

MASSACHUSETTS
The Berkshires, Hancock, MA
Patriot Suites Hotel , Pittsfield, MA

NEVADA
The Cliffs at Peace Canyon, Las Vegas, NV
The Grandview at Las Vegas, Las Vegas, NV

VIRGINIA
Massanutten Resort, McGaheysville, VA
Williamsburg Plantation, Williamsburg, VA
 
Well that seems to make sense - sort of :cool: , I do own at 2-Vacation Village Resorts. Glad to hear I am not alone as this has been going on for a few weeks. Thanks for the updates. I will keep checking.

Just checked, looks like all is well now, seems to be functioning fine.

I am a weeks member not points and have had difficulties for weeks of the same type, have contacted Support at RCI but nothing they tell me works either.....I get in to RCi, then after log in , just keeps hanging and hanging and such.....

I do use Firefox, so where is this IE tab extension you speak of or the MSIE??? Thanks in advance.
 
new week search feature is problematic at best.

work ok most of the time but for some reason it just quits..
using firefox 3.0.4

the old way was more stable and somewhat easier to use.
