RCI Points to WM Credits?

Is there an avenue to convert RCI Points to WM credits? I know at one time there was
a 1:5 conversion ratio of WM credits to RCI points, but I'm wondering about the other direction. If so, what are the specifics?

Elan,

Try phoning WM's Exchange department to ask. Perhaps WM's "Exchange Plus" program has been updated to include RCI Points resorts/deposits??

While I haven't used "Exchange Plus" in years, it allowed Worldmark owners to convert both RCI Weeks and II deposits into WM credits. The number of WM credits received ran roughly 80% of the standard grid used for booking RCI/II weeks against your WM credits. So, if a 2BR Red week required 10k to book through RCI or II one could expect to get 8k credits using the reverse exchange through "Exchange Plus."

I doubt the program has been updated for RCI Points ... but it doesn't hurt to ask??

I think that ended with travelshare, if you have a travelshare account, they let you book on the points side with credits, pretty sure you can't anymore without buying more developer credits to join?

I think you are referring to RCI Points, that WM owners who are non-TravelShare cannot become RCI Points members anymore? But the Exchange Plus program is still in operation?

I wonder if the OP is a Worldmark owner? Only WM owners may use the Exchange Plus program. But I agree, if s/he uses RCI Points to book a week, then deposit that (can one deposit an RCI Points week?), then feasibly that can be turned over to the Exchange Plus program for WM credits, although there is the $129 Exchange Plus fee (probably more now), and the 80% discount. And only WM owners can use WM credits.

Here's a write-up on wmowners.com on Exchange Plus:
