Hello
I am planning (hopefully) post covid trip for late 2021.

I am looking for RCI resorts in maui ideally 2br. Sands of kahana and others look nice but most do not have AC and I am a little scared of no ac :).

All comments and suggestions are appreciated. Suggestions from alternative exchanges are also being looked at

Thank you for your help tuggers

Maui Hill trades through RCI, although most of their inventory is held through Trading Places Maui. They do have a/c. We own there so I'm prejudiced, but we love the resort. It's in Kihei, not a bustling as the Lahaina/Kaanapali are, which suits us just fine.

Trading Places Maui has availability for October and November 2021.

We're long-time owners at Sands of K and haven't had a problem with no AC. We like to feel the tropical breeze! That's why we go to Hawaii.

We own at a fractional ownership in Kihei during Feb/Mar/Apr for ~30 years with no AC. The only time AC might be nice is during the Summer/early Fall. The rest of the year, the Tropical Breezes keep things comfortable.

Also own time at Maui Beach Resort which trades through RCI and II and to my knowledge they have no AC.

If you're looking at Dec/Jan, I wouldn't be concerned. In fact there have been times during Feb when it would have been nice to have heat.;)

I was at Valley Isle about six years ago during the first week of December. Valley Isle is right next to Sands of Kahana in the afternoon it was very warm and the lanai was unusable until the sun went down. Valley Isle has no a/c also.

I too like the trade winds blowing and if they go through and cool the condo great but if the trades die for a few days it will get warm. Especially if you are used to a/c.

We have been in Kihe'i when the Trades died for a few days. Without A.C. it would have been unbearable.
