We are at Club Wyndham Park City. The nice folks at the concierge desk told me that as of August 2025, Wyndham owners no longer have to pay the RCI exchange fee. They wanted to sign me up for an owners update to tell me all about it. I of course politely declined. I didn’t see anything on this forum about that after quickly searching. I presume it’s not true, but let me know if I am missing something. Thanks.

Were their lips moving whEn they told you this information. The folks at the Concierge Desk know very little about changes that are coming. But are great to make things up to create FOMO.

Not true. I wish! We are Wyndham Platinum Founder's and that is just bunk.

Man, if Wyndham actually offered a lower RCI exchange fee to Wyndham owners, that would be a real benefit. They don't seem to want to actually do much to make the offering more compelling to people in the know however. And it could be done, Capital's Trading Places Legacy integrates a lot of RCI inventory with a significant reduction in the exchange fee if you're exchanging a week from a Capital resort via the TPL system (that shows RCI inventory).

They won't do that because the Exchange fee is a pure profit center for RCI (read: Wyndham/T&L).

If other companies are doing that, they are doing it out of pocket as a benefit to their owners
