Trying to deposit next use year's points into RCI. Our use year starts 7/1. They're telling me 10 months before is October 1. Is this correct?? Anyway I calculate it, should be today 9/1.

I agree that it would be September 1. October 1 to June 30 is nine full months. September 1 to June 30 is ten. Would it not let you deposit online?

Thank you! I'm glad I'm not crazy. No, online tells me I don't have enough points. I'm thinking the system is off and so they just make something up. Frustration.

I'd call back and ask them to escalate me to someone who can read a calendar.

Out of curiosity, do you have any points left in your current use year, and if so is it less than 10,000?

I do! I have 7000 in the current use year. Is that known to cause issues?

I hadn't heard anything in this particular scenario, but it had come up when people on FB were discussing whether Wyndham had loosened the 10,000 point deposit minimum. If I go in to start an RCI deposit, it will let me deposit less than 10,000 points (I can get to the confirmation page) - but I have more than 10,000 points available. When someone had fewer than 10,000 points available, it would simply tell them they didn't have enough points. So it was an educated guess. ;)

@HitchHiker71 This might not be a new bug, but a bug nonetheless. It appears that having a small amount of points available in the current use year prevents someone from depositing points to RCI from the next use year.

Got it. I will eventually add this to my online sheet. For reasons surpassing all understanding my Teams instance where I host the worksheet is not working correctly as of two days ago. Another mystery to resolve…

Don't enlist Wyndham to make it work for you!

Have you got experts working to quickly restore it?

Wanted to let you know that you were right about this. Though I think the use year issue also played into it.

Originally I only saw a not enough points error. Then a few weeks ago, it changed and I could see the points available to deposit, but only for a few seconds before the not enough points error pops up. I didn't end up escalating last time, but decided to cancel something I was 99% sure I was going to cancel anyways. So today I call Wyndham to deposit the points to RCI. Not a problem and the 7000 from this year got deposited along with the rest I needed from next year. Now voila! with the small points gone, I can now transfer to RCI normally like before.
