RCI is "offering" to sell my timeshare, but they want $299 to do it. Does anyone else have any experience with them for this? Any other suggestions to get rid of it?

Welcome to TUG.

RCI does not buy or sell timeshares.

It's a scam. Glad you asked here before agreeing to their offer.

No legitimate business will call you up and offer to sell your timeshare. Especially in this economic climate, where there are thousands of timeshares being given away for $1 on eBay, and many don't sell at that price.

There is a company making cold calls that is representing themselves as RCI - BUT they have nothing to do with RCI the exchange company.

NEVER pay a large upfront fee to sell your timeshare - REPUTABLE brokers always take their fees out of the proceeds AFTER the sale.
