RC Vail now available for Rentals

I wonder if the fact that the fractional owners at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch terminated their management contract with Ritz-Carlton/MVW, has anything to do with MVW opening up rentals across I-70 in Vail?

I noticed this reference in the latest published annual report.
Perhaps it is common knowledge, but this is the first time I have seen this documented.
It does not specify the selection criteria or identify specifically which inventory will be included and which excluded though.
"In 2012, we ceased offering a Ritz Carlton Destination Club points based vacation ownership product. Inventory from one of the Ritz Carlton Destination Club branded resorts has been added to the MVCD program, and we intend to place most of our remaining luxury branded inventory into the MVCD program."

Impressive- how is the availability? Unfortunately, I don't have points to check the availability online, but wondering if you have assessed the availability using DC points

It seemed to be open quite a bit. This will be our second year in a row staying at this property. Puck also stayed last year as well.

Great article. Thanks. I wonder as well but I can't blame them for voting RC out. Those folks paid over $200K for their fractional products to be an exclusive club.

Their biggest issue was always opening up their club to MVCI owners at a fraction of the cost.

Wonder if any other remaining RC DC has similar plans when their management agreement with RC is to be renewed?
