I didn't know that Ray had passed away. I was wondering recently why I hadn't seen anything from him for so long. I guess this answers my question.
I am so sorry. He was sort of a hero, along with Darlene, traveling all over the country and making the best use of their timeshares.
Rest in peace, Ray, and thanks for all the good help and advice.

Thanks, Marti, for taking the time to research Ray. He was such a nice gentleman. I don't think I ever saw him post a harsh word or be unkind to anyone. He hadn't posted in a long time and he was missed.

My condolences to his family.

I have not been around long enough to remember much of his posting, but I do remember reading about his almost full time life living in timeshares.

Thank you for sharing this info.

Thanks for the news about Ray. I too was wondering why he hadn't posted in a long while.

I was thinking a while back that I should contact him to get a fresh update on that full time timeshare living. Now I have to scour TUG.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Ray and Darlene every year when we travelled to Florida. What a lovely couple! They would entertain us with stories of their worldwide travels, and offer us valuable tips on timesharing. Ray, RIP. My condolences go out to Darlene and family.

I was going to ask Brian to put together Ray's tips but then I rescanned the posts here and found this already done.

Right there in the OP! Click the TUG link under the bolded Ride with Ray.

I like having an idea and then finding out the work's already done. All I have to do is take advantage of Steve's fine work.

We got the idea from him

So sorry to hear about Ray's passing. We are full time timesharing because of reading about his experiences and being inspired. I didn;t know he was a teacher too.

Thanks for sharing this for all of us.

I read of his TS trips years ago and was amazed for hours reading his summaries on exchanging for extended holidays. Will miss Ray.
