I am looking at buying some blank CD disk from best buy the brand name is Dynex but I am not sure if they are just cheap disk or decennt disk
can anyone tell me is there a site that may rate the disk or if you know anything about this brand

When I purchase blank CDs it's always based on price. The best price so far was a coupon special at $3.99 for a spindle of 100 at Staples.

I also bought blank CD's based on price but with iPods, online music, other storage methods (if that's your intent), why buy a blank CD? ... seriously

They work good for hanging around my workshop, which is a cedar siding building to keep the woodpeckers away. But I try to use old ones and not new ones.

good but the most popular use for old CD's is putting them in the microwave ....

(try googling "CD" and "microwave" !)

Why are DVD's cheaper than CD's now? At least in Canada.

I haven't priced them lately because I still have plenty of unused blank discs of both kinds. But my original point was - why buy CD's? Cameras and cell phones now have the ability to play music, there are plenty of cheap MP3 players and you can connect these devices to car and other audio systems. CD's seem to be going the way of the cassette.

I still use quite a few CDs, mostly for portability and backup-backup for photos or important docs. It's been awhile since I bought any but they were the cheapest brand from Costco and they work fine.
