Hi Katherine,
Are you obtaining an individual II membership for your non-requalled SVO properties? If you plan on requalifying them soon, no need to sign up for an extended II membership since those properties will roll into SVO's "free" corporate II account.
I've still got my pre-requalled SDO personal II account open since I paid for a 5 year memership . . . . .. I just logged into it and found that II is currently offering the following on-line renewal specials:
5 years $336 - $84 discount - Plus Free Gift - Best Value!
3 years $219 - $33 discount - Plus Free Gift
2 years $168
1 year $84
The "Free Gift" is a pair of binoculars. Judging from the picture of 'em, they appear to be layered in fine plastic and suitable for children's play time.
If you can't do better, I'd hold out for at least those rates.
Also, don't waste your money on upgrading to "gold" status. If you truely want the limited II "gold" benefits, you can always add 'em later.

The rates posted are standard II rates. Usually II discounts are specific to the resort you are adding or to resorts you own.
Ask the II rep if there are any discounts available for the resort you are adding. How long it takes for the unit to be verified depends on how quickly the resort gets back to II. It can take as little as a few hours or could be a couple of weeks.
