Questions re. Grande Vista following Re-furb

We stayed at Grande Vista a couple of years ago, and have booked for this coming summer again, encouaged by the re-furbishment program which will hopefully resolve the one or two areas we thought were a bit below par last time.

Can I ask GV owners a couple of questions regardring the new bar / eating facilities?

1. The old circular bar near the main village is now an ice cream and sweets place. Is there another bar in the village centre open in the evenings for drinks?

2. Does the Copa Loca B&G serve drinks in the evening?

3. What other eating facilities are there now on site? (I know about Nick's restaurant, which is really rather good we thought.) Is the old Pizza place still open? What food is avalable at the new market place?

Sure

1. The old circular bar near the main village is now an ice cream and sweets place. Is there another bar in the village centre open in the evenings for drinks?

One is planned for this area, though I don't know if it is completed yet, none of the owner communications indicate that is is open. We will be there next week so I can respond after our stay. Though everything is supposed to be done by the end of May.

2. Does the Copa Loca B&G serve drinks in the evening?

According to the hours provided on the sitemap that they provide at, it is open until 9:00pm. Hours may vary, but since you are open in summer I would think they would have their longest hours at that time of year, with shorter hours in off season.

3. What other eating facilities are there now on site? (I know about Nick's restaurant, which is really rather good we thought.) Is the old Pizza place still open? What food is avalable at the new market place?

Pizza is still available right now but not at its old location. I think they are making them at the Copa Loca B&G. Though they are supposed to get their own location back once the referbs are done. When you go they will likely be back in the main village center area again.

The new Marketplace is open, but can't speak much to the food selection, sorry.
