Question regarding II request first ongoing search

If I use my 2027 SDO to set up a request first OGS do I need to prepay my 2027 maintenance fees? I know that you don't need to do this for Marriott deposits, but I am unsure about the Sheraton/Westin properties when using request first.

Unless things have changed, you have to prepay MF's before they will clear a week for deposit in II. When you set up an ongoing search, you are essentially clearing the way for the deposit because the deposit could happen anytime after you set up the ongoing search.

When you do a request first, it also puts your week on hold so it can look like its actually been deposited, so beware of that and double check that they have done it the right way round. It can take a week or so for the week to appear back in your account if you cancel the deposit first.
