Resorts Owned
Grandview Las Vegas
Hello, Community
I wanted ask everyone, I own a time share in Grandview vegas and I bought it bc it was the lowest hoa fees of rci and the exchanges, and options I have with rci. I would like to do the same with a resort with Interval I... Will I have a better options or more or less the same last calls in the same locations???? Which resort or resorts have the LOWEST HOA from II in Nevada or Arizona? Is this worth IT?? Please advise thank you and Merry Cristmas and happy holidays

Interval does not have the volume of resorts or as many last minute cheap deals as RCI, but what it does have a larger pool of quality brand name timeshares.

I also own a Grandview RCI points, principally on account of its value for RCI points. I also own Sheraton Desert Oasis ("SDO")and Marriott Grande Vista ("MGV") for the value they represent for trading in II.

SDO is known as one of the better value traders in the Vistana system. MGV has a similar reputation from the Marriott collection, but Marriott Grand Chateau is known to have the lower maintenance fee for value trading, in particular the two bedroom lock-off.

Thank you very much. Have a safe and happy holiday.

Do you think its worth it to get another timeshare with II. Or should i just get extra inventory from rci. I am just looking for last calls over all?

Value is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I prefer II over RCI. I find the RCI exchange fees too high, and I prefer the Marriotts, Sheratons and Westin units in II. It also has Disney, which is not of interest to me, but that again comes back to your preferences.

Why do you want another timeshare? What are you wishing to achieve with it? Give us a sense of what you are trying to achieve, particularly where you wish to go, and you will get more nuanced advice.

I would like to have more options for resorts that are pet friendly. Rci really does have alot of pet friendly hotels. I know that westgate from II allows pets and they have waterslides. My boys 7 and 5 would love it. That is the main reason overal, but i dont need another timeshare I dont have the time to take off.

Ok so ill have the same issue with II. I appreciate ypur help.. Thank u
Jose

I second that! II has better resorts.

Most timeshares don't allow dogs. There are a few, but most of those only allow dogs for owners. So what you really want is a timeshare that allows dogs. That should be the focus of your search. The exchange company will be irrelevant because most exchanges won't allow your dog.
If you don't want to stay at the same place/timeshare, then timeshares likely aren't for you. Airbnbs or motels that allow dogs are a better fit.
