question for the mexico resort specialist??

Joined TUG '96, Wyndham Grand Palms AKA, Presidential Villas at Plantation Resort, 3 bed lockout.
My daughter is looking at a wedding in cancun in nov of 2025.. Some of the all inclusive place, resorts etc are running for 2 people a room like 1500 a night the wedding venue planner she is working with is showing them.. The one place is
Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun seem to be the best but expensive.. they are trying to get a group rate but it not much less than the retail rates..

What are some other good lower cost place for a wedding venue.. it can be a timeshare or not.. just trying to get more different type places.

The Live Aqua is a higher end, adults only, all inclusive resort. It isn't cheap. There are literally hundreds of resorts in the area. You might be best to work with a travel agent that specializes in destination weddings. Most of the resorts there will have someone who is in charge of planning weddings at their respective resorts but it sounds like she has someone states side helping with that already? You may also want to check https://forum.cancuncare.com/. Similar to TUG but for Cancun travel, though it doesn't get as much traffic.

Check out the Royal Solaris. I assume your Daughter understands that most Weddings in Mexico by USA Citizens or other non-Mexicans are merely a ceremony and not a legal recognized Wedding. Unless you complete all the Paper Work in Mexico and comply with all Mexican Laws which includes a Blood Test, etc.

Look at the Royal Sands. A beautiful timeshare property and as an owner since the property was built (1999) we have seen any weddings there. They do a beautiful job. The full villas sleep 6 people.

Unless something has changed, all major resorts in Cancun and down to Playa del Carmin offer a wedding package.
