Question for a friend...welk to Hyatt?

A friend used to own the Welk in Escondido. She thinks she is a part of the Hyatt vacation club now. I am a Hyatt Vacation Club owner....I can just show her how the system works? Or are they a separate club from the Hyatt Vacation Club?

The former Welk properties are under the Hyatt umbrella, but they are operated separately. One can exchange between them using Interval International.

Only welk to welk properties? You can’t use the welk points for other Hyatt Tineshare prooertues?

That’s correct. Welk trades within their system and Hyatt trades within their system. Owners use II to trade between the systems. At some point they may create a system that enables them to work with each other, but there isn’t anything on the horizon.
