I'm scheduled to arrive next week and I'm concerned about the smoke
and ashes. I would like to cancel but hate to lose my exchange fees..
Plus my week that I am using for the exchange expires May 31. :(

Will RCI allow a member to cancel a Florida Exchange
due to fires & smoke and waive the cancellation fee?

I'm wondering how people with health problems - handle the smoke
from the fires at Disney World & surrounding area timeshare resorts?

I don't want to be out all day if there's smoke in the air.
From the looks of the news reports there's fires all around that area.

Marty,

RCI is not waiving the standard cancellation guidelines as a result of the fires. My best recommendation to determine what you could expect in the area would be to contact the resort directly. You might also check with local authorities. There is fairly detailed information on the Florida Disaster website.
