Would love info comparing the Hyatt and Wyndham in Puerto Rico. We would not be traveling with kids. However, we love a great pool and nice beach, updated rooms and bathroom.
Thank you!

I stayed at the Hyatt earlier this year. The villas are updated. There's a private beach and a nice size pool.

Hi - I can't compare to the Wyndham, but can confirm that the Hyatt is an excellent resort. Rooms were updated in the last 3 years, pool is excellent and its located on a very nice crescent bay with a good beach right there at the resort. The units all seem to be 2-bed lock-offs with separate doors for each half once you are inside the initial entry door. The washer and dryer are in a cupboard in the joint lobby
To note 2 things. The location of the resort is away from other things, so you'll need a car to get out and about. Its not within walking distance of restaurants or shops. Also the site of the former Hyatt hotel next door is being redeveloped so there can be some construction noise. The site has been due for redevelopment for over a decade, so they are probably still in the clearing ground stage, but ask in the Hyatt forum for up to date info.
