Property Access Table in the Latest Club Traveler

HGVC at Boulevard and Craigendarroch Lodges
This table is in the latest Club Traveler but doesn't really make sense. So, BG Max have access to some but not all of The Club and HGVC properties plus no access to Embarc. HGVC Max doesn't have access to BG.

Of course, it may not be correct. Expecting HGVC to release accurate information may be expecting too much.

It looks very specific so I would expect it to be accurate. BG Max will not get all of the HGVC or HVC properties.
 
It looks like nobody has access to BG, except BG, at this point but they have access to some other club properties. Seems like if Max is an exchange, like they have described, it wouldn't work very well if others can't use BG.
 
I see an opening to create Hilton Titanium Vacation Club so you can have access to everything.

Or I would prefer Hilton Allaccess Titanium Experiences. The acronym would be better.
 
In the past, we all joked about the next thing that HGV would pitch and that took off on a whole thread of it's own...:)

Every now and then I do feel sorry for their salespeople. They need something that resale buyers can't get into.
 
If they really wanted to just sell deeds, then they could reduce the pricing and cut the marketing budget. If the goal is really to just keep the properties fully sold out, then there is a better way to do it but, that isn't the goal, they make a lot of money of these sales that then fund other stuff. ... That is the real goal and nothing really to do with making the properties the best that they can be.
 
I got Hilton Vacay Access Club. It keeps me cool.
I look at the HGVClub column, see no checks, look at what I'm missing, and go on with my day.

Same as it ever was, all over. There was a book written in the '80s by the title "The Goal". I think it is pretty famous. I read it way back then. My 1-line summary:
"The Goal of every business is to make a profit."

I haven't paid attention; how did they work out the Points/day or /week between HGVC sites and BG sites. BG is (supposed to be) "good" and HGVC is "best", so what is the ratio of points. How many days in, let's say, Lagoon Tower will a week's worth of BG pts get them?

Good question. I don't know. There would need to be some sort of points leveling though. Obviously, a BG property probably isn't as nice as a Hilton Club property so should be less points.

Hilton/Diamond/Embarc owners also have to buy into MAX in order to access BG resorts. No one is getting a free ride. Agree with @MrockStar - continue to use your BG ownership as you always have. If you are a Diamond member with MAX, will you be grandfathered as a BG or have to buy again to get...

And there it is...I wonder why they haven't opened up BG properties for HGVC Max then, or maybe it was just those on that table. If I were them, when creating marketing material, I would only use one that are. Helps sell their story better.

Exactly. I can't understand sports fans. They can never figure out that the goal of the owners isn't to win. It is a increase profits.
