Problem Walking Reservation

First time walker here. Started walking a reservation 2 nights ago. I'm in PST so got ready at 9pm but it wouldn't let me modify the reservation until 10pm both nights. Any ideas, why?
 
Because the reservation system has issues. That is oversimplifying it. There are both old/known issues (ie, you have a reservation but other days that you already have reserved are not available for booking, so no changes can be made online) and newer issues (ie, HGVC IT changing the system, and failing to test for quality control). It could also have been that someone else released a unit, allowing you to book it.

Thanks for responding. I'm walking 2 rooms in the same property and it was the same for both. Let's see if it will work tonight. It's 8:59pm.
 
I have been trying to walk at Elara. Five seconds after 11pm, I can click through to book, but then it gives me the “We’re sorry, that reservation is no longer available”. So frustrating. Still trying though.

*Edit to say 11PM Central / Midnight Eastern

Elara, me too, vroom, vroom. After a lot of clicking soon after 9pm I was able to add the extra day to the 2 rooms but only after I deleted the first day for both so each are still 3 day reservations. Would've liked to have kept the first day but priority was adding the new day. Still with me folks...oh goodness. I did see some reservations open up for the same days but it said due to high demand reservation no longer available, so not sure why they were even able to be seen as available. Somehow though I was able to grab one more room. May use it or use it as literal wiggle room in case something goes wrong tomorrow.

Now I know why I can't see/book anything around those dates:)!
Jokes apart, glad at least many of these rooms are going to fellow owners who will actually use it (vs speculators/renters)!

Due to some strict travel restrictions with folks in our party, I've had to be diligent about walking a reservation at Los Cabos to ensure I land rooms for very specific dates during peak season. My first time walking a high-stakes reservation like this. It's nerve-racking!

What if I forget to walk it and someone jumps ahead of me as soon as the three-day window opens?
What if someone with a deed there takes the room I need 10-months out, before the general booking window even opens?
The potential for failure is endless!

If no rooms are available, you won't be able to change dates.

You will be SOL. HW owners should and do have priority over club booking owners.

It makes me thankful for the flexible travel schedule I’ve been able to enjoy up to this point — just jump on and book whatever handful of days are available without having to fight for a room.
 
I still don't understand why 2 nights ago it would not allow me to simply add the new night to the existing reservation. I had to delete a beginning day then add the new day before it would accept the modification. I guess I could have waited more time to see if I could keep all the days but usually best to get it done as soon as possible from what I understand. Last night easy, system accepted first pass of adding a day exactly at 9pm. Did not have to delete anything.

Which resort? I can not even reduce my reservation if the resort has been upgraded to the new inventory system (Ocean Oak)

this inconsistency is widespread. I’ve never found rhyme or reason. For example, same resort, same dates, some room types you can walk, some you can. And some reservations you can walk one night, but not the next.
