Presidential vs. Presidential Reserve

What is the difference (besides points required to book) between Presidential and Presidential Reserve?

I am NOT Presidential. I am NOT Presidential Reserve. I am NOT VIP. Purchased all points retail.

Both options popped up when looking for a reservation. The floor plans and pictures were the same. I believe the Presidential Reserve was a LITTLE larger in square footage but nothing significant.

The Presidential and Presidential Reserves are basically the same, I believe. They have upgraded furnishings like stainless steel appliances, upgraded furniture, whirlpool tubs, etc. Typically, they are on higher floors with better views. With the PR, you also get additional amenities, depending on the resort and your membership level. I am Silver VIP, and have been able to book several Presidential and PR units in the standard reservation window this year. As long as the unit is available and you have enough points, anyone can reserve those units. They are not exclusive to VIP and PR members. We love the upgrades and feel they are worth it if we have the points available. YMMV
