Hi-

I live in Vegas, but never mind going to a timeshare presentation for some "freebies". Anybody know who has good deals out there?

Marriott's Grand Chateau gave us two tickets to "V" last year. Not much, but it's something.

Especially since that one can be purchased at the Tickets4tonight or Tickets2night both with a much shorter wait time in line than sitting through a sales persentation.

For the most part, most of the tours only offer second tier shows and maybe a free buffet. Most of the the shows offered can be purchased at the 2/4/1 booths or have 2/4/1 coupons available in the tourist mags.

Don't fall for the "free" slot play from Consolidated. Thats just sitting down at Casion Royal's promotiona never-pay-off machines.

Cash is generally $100, which isn't worth spending 2 hours with a salesman IMO.

Doug,

We only sat through the presentation at Grand Chateau because you liked it so much.

So it's your fault. :)

How motivated are you to negotiate?

I got my best deal at the Tahiti Village. 2 tix to V, to tix to a comedy show, 2dinners at Pampas in the Aladdin (better than the buffet), $20 in certs to use at Hooters, coupons worth $70 bucks in slot play at Circus Circus (parlayed that into $175 cash winnings).

Marriott only gave us 2 tix to Jubilee, and two coupons for 2 for 1 buffets at Harrahs. (It was my first day, otherwise I would have tried to score a better deal).

The two presentations got to be a bit of a bear, but when I am in vegas for a week, my time has a very low marginal value. And it kept my out of the casinos which is a good thing.
