It seems this category is the 'step-child' of postings/listings, if the timeframe is greater than 45 days.

When I look at this area -- I think it was called rental 'wish list' -- there is no rhyme or reason to the way listings are presented. If I am an owner who has something that another would like to rent, it seems I would need to look at all, with no way to sort?

On the other hand, the "want to rent less than 45 days out", can be easily reviewed

Please advise if I am missing something.

Are you talking about the last minute rental forum on tugbbs or something in the TUG Marketplace?

It's the same with advertising a rental. If it is beyond 45 days- it has to go through the marketplace. There is a reserved forum space, on the other hand for last minute rentals- both wanted to rent and rentals offered.

the wish section in the marketplace has no restrictions on price/date/etc.

It's really simpler that it seems - only rentals in the next 45 days can be posted, so you only have to look at the first 4 pages or so to see the current rentals that are offered. I can assure you that there are many Tuggers who eagerly scan the new listings every day to see what's been added.

The "rentals offered" and "rentals wanted" sections are organized exactly the same way: Rentals in the next 45 days - newest to oldest.

Clarification: That's sorted by date of the latest posting in the thread, not by the date of the rental being offered or sought.
