The Wyndham-based hotel chopped down 25 acres of protected mangroves. They said they did not know, but I am pretty sure anyone who owns/runs a hotel must know laws regarding their property. They initially claimed a tornado did it, but there was no tornado in the area. In other words, ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
