Anybody heard of this transaction? Our renters have sent a deposit via this site. Just wondering if this is ok. We are in Canada and they are from U.S. Any info good or bad would be helpful.

It appears to be a competitor to PayPal. It is endorsed by Citibank so it would seem to be legit.

Thanks so much for the input! You never know when something is a scam or not so i wanted to be sure before i responded to our renters.

Our credit union just switched to Pop Money from Zashpay. It is legitimate.

:)

Ally Bank also uses PopMoney to send money to individuals. It is legit, they have been using it for over a year now.

Our bank also uses PopMoney. However, I don't think you can link it to a non-US based account to withdrawal the funds. So if you don't have a US account you may not be able to get your hands on the funds.
