Pool closures

Quick question. How can you check resorts for any closures on remodeling updates? I'm at Parc Soliel on a 4 night stay, and found out that Tuscany's main pool is closed for basically the Month of January. They are providing transportation to Parc Soliel to use the pool here. Some of the guests said they did not know the pool was going to be closed when they booked their stay. I do see now in the description Tuscany states main pool is closed.
We have another 4 night stay booked at Sea World starting on 2-14-22. I want to make sure there is no scheduled pool work there while we are there with friends. Any good place to find that out ? We live an hour and a half out from Orlando and booking 3-4 night week day stays often.

Call the front desk of the resort. They should know.

But I would advise against leaving a call-back # with the desk.
I gave 'em ours once, and then started getting spam calls.
I'm not saying it's connected, but...

One thing I will say is that the pools may be closing early or even not open at all on some days. At Elara over the summer, we had 3 out of our 5 days that the pool either closed early or never opened and we didn't know until they announced it. When the pools closed early, it was announced just a short time before they closed. One of the days is when we rented a cabana (they gave us half of our money back). The staff shortages really are effecting the hospitality industry and the pool staffs are included.

I agree, somebody at HGV is selling phone numbers.

I just gave out my phone at Lagoon Tower in Dec because texts are the best way to know when the room is ready, and to request items from housekeeping. Yesterday I got my first timeshare exit call from a Texas number! This is a new phone number I got in Sep…grrrr.

When I was in Vegas for Christmas, the resort page of Paradise was clear it was open but with limited hours. We stayed there and my kids enjoyed the pool (I can't comprehend how as it was cold even though it said "heated"). Blvd on the other hand lied it was open. We arrived only to see a sign at the pool entrance that's it's closed for winter and the resort can drive you to Paradise. I complained about this to the front desk, asking them to update the information on the website. Looking at the resort page now, it still says "2 heated swimming pools (open)". And I wonder if it's true or not. I wouldn't trust it. The management probably hasn't updated it yet. (In general, Blvd has been the worst experience overall out of Paradise-Boulevard-Elara trio I stayed at this Christmas/NYE - both rooms, housekeeping, information the website)

I’ve done it several times. I’ve contacted Ocean 22, Elara, Valdoro, Chicago and Ocean Oak. I’ve even contacted The Boulevard this August the day of to see how I could park in the garage to chill with friends that were staying there while our Elara room was readied. In fact, I’ve never had an issue calling a resort directly. Always got a person. Now I’ve probably jinxed myself and the next time I call I won’t get a real person, but every time I’ve tried, I have talked to a person. Maybe it’s changed since August, but I’ve always got a person.

I think they told us at check in the pool was heated to 74? We live in vegas and heat our admittedly tiny pool to 88. Yes, I know we are spoiled .

I did call Sea World directly, and the woman who answered said no pool repairs scheduled in February. Did not put me on hold to check...So I don't know if that is fact or her opinion. I thought maybe in the annual report or something it might have info.
When I booked the Parc Soliel, I had thought about Tuscany also. There was no word in early December that it was going to close for the month of January. Glad I went with Parc Soliel.
