Just returned from a week at this resort and would be happy to answer any questions regarding the resort. While not as luxuriously furnished as some timeshares that are rated 5 star, it certainly was 1st class as far as we were concerned because of the staff. I have never seen such a helpful staff in all our timeshare travels and that includes the Royal Resorts. The unit we occupied was a 2 bedroom loft and obviously had recently been done over as the carpets, furniture, counters, bathrooms, etc were all in excellent condition. We had a problem with our icemaker and they replaced it twice until one finally worked but brought us bagged ice until they could get it going. They furnish coffee, salt & pepper, paper towels, t paper, tissues, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing liquid and dishwashing packets for the dishwasher and will replenish the supplies daily if necessary. They emptied the baskets daily, brought clean towels, etc daily, did a free mid week tidy up and changed the sheets and the night before we left we asked what they required us to do in the timeshare before checking out and their response was "you don't have to do anything...this is your vacation and you should enjoy yourself and we'll take care of everything when you leave". I did, however, strip the beds and load the dishwasher. The area is marvelous for sightseeing and I would highly recommend this timeshare to those of you who may be looking to travel north sometime. Glad you enjoyed your stay. A good friendly staff can really make the difference between a good or great stay. I'm looking forward to our stay there next April.

Which building and unit did you stay in ? Anything new and exciting in the area.

We stay in unit 309 in the building that looks over the pool (lengthwise) not the building that is above the reception area. The only negative about that unit is the view from the porch. You had to stand up to see over the railing.

That's the one building I've never seen the units in and they are the oldest at the resort. If you loved it- I imagine you would have to be evicted if you stayed in the newest units.:)

We stayed at the Pollard Brook this year with our grandchildren and they enjoyed it. While I agree that the service staff was very friendly and helpful, I was frustrated with the lack of proper central air conditioning in the main building overlooking the pool. To aircond units in the walls were a poor substitute.
Also, the beds in the second loft bdr. needed upgrading as did the bedding. We found it strange to have only one older 24" TV in the living room. There was no TV in the second bdr. or in the loft area for kids to watch on a rainy day.
The area offers plenty of interesting hikes and good eating options. I suppose this resort rates 5 star mainly because of both indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, exercise rm. and other amenities, but the older buildings certainly need updating. The new bldg is too far away from recr. facilities and walking up and down the slope may be too chalenging for some.

It's a great resort, but as they continue to add buildings the amenities continue to get more pressure. The InnSeasons change, if anything, made the timeshare units even more luxurious.
