As some of you know, wildlife photography is one of my hobbies. I decided to try something a little different the other day. I tried to photograph my shadow, but it was too quick. It disappeared in a flash.

That's a pretty snappy joke, I can almost picture you trying it.

Beautiful image

Your photo is amazing. When I'm on vacation I take more photos of nature than I do of scenery or the people I'm travelling with. Drives my family crazy. But I'm only a beginner and have a lot to learn. Thanks for posting the link.

Ron,

Beautiful picture! Showed it to DH. He was trying to figure out if it is a Great Blue or a Tri-Colored...do you know? Great shot. Where was it taken? Thanks for showing it.

Thanx for the kind words. If you want to shoot wildlife as a hobby, there are many sites that can help you. Here are 2 I like:

http://www.photosig.com/go/main This is a critique site with members from beginners to pros, but by receiving and giving critiques, you can learn quickly.

http://www.fredmiranda.com/ This is a site where some great photographers post photos, and they have forums for different types of photography as well as "how to" forums. The people on the Nature & Wildlife forum are very friendly, and very helpful.

I hope this helps ~ Ron
